How to get to RIHGA Royal Hotel Tokyo

From JR Takadanobaba Station

Use the free shuttle bus, about 10 minutes. The shuttle bus operates between 9:00 and 21:40 Monday to Friday and 8:00 and 21:40 weekends and holidays. The shuttle bus leaves from the Waseda exit at 10 minutes and 40 minutes after the hour.

Note that on weekends and holidays between 10:00 and 18:00, the shuttle leaves every 15 minutes. For the return trip, the shuttle bus leaves the hotel on the hour and half hour.

From Narita Airport

Take the JR Narita Express train to Tokyo station, about 55 minutes. From there, take a taxi to the hotel, about 22 minutes.

Alternatively, take the JR Narita Express train to Shinjuku station, about 75 minutes. From there, take a taxi to the hotel, about 12 minutes.

For yet another route, take the Keisei Sky Liner to Keisei Ueno station, just under one hour. From there, take a taxi to the hotel, about 20 minutes.

Originally the site of a villa of the Matsudaira clan, the grounds include a teahouse relocated from Gifu Prefecture. The entrance is located right next to the lobby of the first floor of the RIHGA Royal Hotel Tokyo.

Hours of operation: 11:00 to 16:00 on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, April to December. In addition to Wednesdays and Sundays, Okuma Garden is closed on national holidays. Contact RIHGA Royal Hotel Tokyo directly for more details.

The largest wholesale seafood market in the world, the Tsukiji Fish Market is located in Chuo Ward and is open to the public. For early risers, it is an excellent opportunity to see fish auctions in action. The area around the market hosts a number of sushi restaurants opening as early as 5:00 and closing between noon and 15:00.

A popular destination for tourists, Asakusa was traditionally an entertainment district, and welcomes people from all walks of life with its attractions. Among the famous locations is Kaminarimon (Thunder Gate), beyond which is Senso Temple, the oldest temple in Tokyo. Nakamise-dori is the road leading up to Kaminarimon, and its shops are popular among visitors.
