As visitors step into the main lobby, they are greeted by a magnificent, elegant carpet. The origins of this carpet trace back to the legendary “Manyo no Nishiki” carpet, which featured opulent Manyo patterns and was created under the supervision of architect Isoya Yoshida when the new wing opened in 1973.

This chandelier has adorned the grand ballroom of the Shin-Osaka Hotel—the predecessor of the RIHGA Royal Hotel Osaka—since its opening in 1935.
It depicts a musical ensemble consisting of three people playing the flute, guitar, and tambourine, respectively, and one person singing and dancing.

The space itself is a work of art—and the ‘Leach Bar,’ established in 1965, offers a chance to experience this firsthand.
Designed by British potter Bernard Leach, it recreates the warmth of a rustic English cottage.
The interior features works by Living National Treasure Shoji Hamada, as well as Kanjiro Kawai and Shiko Munakata, creating a special space where you can savor a drink while feeling the presence of these masters.

“La Ronde” stands at the end of an approach designed to resemble a bridge.
Upon entering the building, you are greeted by a striking space featuring purple glass mosaics that extend from the columns up to the ceiling.
Designed in 1965 by Isoya Yoshida with guidance from Bernard Leach, it was meticulously crafted by skilled artisans. Even after nearly 60 years, it continues to radiate a timeless brilliance .
Following a renovation, it now features seating overlooking a Japanese garden, evolving into a sophisticated hideaway where Japanese and Western aesthetics harmonize.

Overlooking the lush Japanese garden, cascading waterfall, and the winding stream flowing through the hotel, the Main Lounge is crowned by the “Shiun” chandelier, created by artist Minami Tada.
Composed of approximately 250,000 crystal elements forming 21 cloud-like shapes, it embodies the lounge’s design theme: the fusion of nature and architecture.
Changing its appearance depending on the viewer’s perspective, it has become one of RIHGA Royal Hotel Osaka’s most iconic sights.

Adorning Sanraku Hall is a Nishijin tapestry recreating Yoshino Tatsuta, a masterpiece by the Momoyama-period painter Kano Sanraku.
Spanning the walls of this grand banquet hall, the design evokes the impression of a monumental painting unfolding across the space.

The defining feature of Korin Hall is its magnificent golden ceiling.
Inspired by Ogata Kōrin’s celebrated Irises and Yatsuhashi screens, the ceiling is adorned with 750 illuminated iris petals.
Each petal was individually crafted by Kyoto Buddhist sculptors, while three grand chandeliers cast a radiant glow throughout the hall.
Together, they create the enchanting impression of irises blooming across a shimmering waterscape.
