Year 1994 The Birth of "RIHGA Royal Hotel Hiroshima"

The RIHGA Royal Hotel Hiroshima opened its doors on April 25th, 1994, in conjunction with the 1994 Asian Games which were held in October the same year. The hotel was established to accommodate athletes from participating countries and to cater to the growing number of domestic and international tourists. It offered extensive lodging facilities and restaurants, and functioned as a venue for banquets and weddings.

Charity concert for the victims of the floods in western Japan

As part of our cultural contribution to the region, our hotel has organized cooking competitions using local ingredients (oysters and conger eels) and free chapel concerts. In November 2018, the hotel hosted a charity concert for the victims of the floods in western Japan together with world-renowned maestro Eiji Oue, who was born in Hiroshima.
